FAQs
General Information
What is changing in The Bridge?
The Bridge is getting an updated look, enhanced security features, and a more modern user experience. The banking tools and functionality you rely on today will remain the same.
Will my account information, users, templates, and settings remain the same?
Yes. Your account information, users, permissions, templates, and settings will carry over to the updated version of The Bridge.
Will the update affect my accounting software connection?
No. Existing connections to accounting software, such as QuickBooks, will continue to work as they do today. No action is required.
Security & Authentication
Do I need to create an Authentication Password?
An Authentication Password (sometimes called an Out of Band or OOB PIN) is used to verify your identity when approving ACH and wire transactions.
If you've set one up in the past, no further action is required.
If you're prompted to create one during setup and do not use ACH or wire services, you can select Skip. You can always set up an Authentication Password later if your needs change.
Navigation & User Experience
I can't find the menu options I used before. Where did they go?
In the updated version of The Bridge, the menu options previously displayed across the top of the screen have been consolidated under Menu in the upper-left corner of the page.
What are the tabs at the top of my screen?
The updated version of The Bridge includes tabbed navigation. When you open a feature or service, it appears in its own tab, making it easier to move between tasks without returning to the main menu.
Where can I find the search feature?
To search within The Bridge, select the down arrow next to the search field to expand the available search options.
Where can I find user guides and training materials?
User guides are available here. Once you're logged in to The Bridge, you can also access user guides by selecting Menu > My Settings > File Vault > Public Vault.
Where can I find important messages and announcements?
In the updated version of The Bridge, messages and announcements are no longer displayed as banners across the top of the screen. Instead, you'll see an indicator when a message is available. Select the Bulletins button on the Dashboard to view messages, announcements, and important notifications.
Why don't I see all of my accounts on the Dashboard?
In the updated version of The Bridge, accounts are grouped by account type on the Dashboard. Select an account category, such as Checking, Savings, or Loans, to view all accounts within that group.
Where can I find my transaction history?
To view transaction history, select the account you'd like to review from the Dashboard. Recent transactions and account activity will be displayed for that account.
Where can I find my statements?
To view statements and other electronic documents, select Menu > Account Information > E-Documents.
Where can I find my reports?
Reports are available under Menu > Reports. Select Balance Reports to view balance reporting information and other available reports.
Where can I find stop payments?
To place a stop payment, select Menu > Stop Payments > Request Stop Payment.
